Men's William Morris Snakeshead Cotton Socks

In a collaboration with the William Morris Gallery, we have created a collection of socks inspired by the Victorian artist's design and ethos - the perfect modern-day fusion of beautiful designs and the finest traditions of British manufacturing.

Morris is well known for taking inspiration from medieval European art, but perhaps less for his interest in historic textiles from the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent. Morris also learnt from contemporary cottons imported from India, particularly in the strongly contrasting reds and blues, and the way the three-dimensional forms of flowers and leaves could be transformed into flat patterns.

Fit & Specification                              

Our mid-calf/crew socks offer a snug and supportive fit that offers breathable comfort and stretch without losing shape. The men's crew length is 11.5" and finishes at the mid-calf, with a small ribbed cuff which stays in place without slipping or feeling too tight around the leg. The fabric is a lightweight flat knit cotton and our expertly finished toe seams are smooth and comfortable during wear and have a reinforced heel for durability. Available in S/M and L/XL. Composition & Product Care

Crafted from 75% Cotton 25% Nylon offering a luxuriously soft feel against the skin. Breathable and moisture-wicking, our bestselling everyday sock provide all-day comfort and freshness . Our cotton mix is beautifully comfortable providing an excellent fit and durability whilst retaining its colour. Wash at 30'C and avoid tumble drying.
