From Shanghai to Hong Kong to Tokyo to Seoul, this month Corgi has been logging frequent flyer miles! Chris Jones, our Co-Managing Director travelled to some of our biggest export markets with designer Katie to visit customers old and new. Below are images from our successful trunk show in Korea at our customer Tailorable’s store. This is our second Trunk show we have done at the store and we are already planning a return in the autumn.
In Tokyo, Chris and Katie worked with Corgi’s agent for the past 15 years, Akira Irie of Homestead Ltd, at his showroom.
They also met with potential wholesale customers, and showed off our fantastic range of knitwear.
Corgi’s final visit in Japan was to Wako, the world famous department store at the heart of the Ginza shopping district in Tokyo. After a successful Christmas, Wako has put in an even bigger order for our pure cashmere scarves. Here are Akira, Chris and the Wako buyers choosing new colours for this year.
