Description

Stay stylishly warm without the bulk of heavy materials in this pure cashmere or pure wool ribbed zip up cardigan. Crafted from the highest grade 6-ply Scottish yarn in a 1x1 rib knit fabric, it’s a well-fitting casual style jacket that is the perfect layering piece. Expertly created by our artisans here at Corgi HQ, using a ribbed knitting technique. Each individual pieces that make up the garment are meticulously shaped by hand and by needle to create the perfect fit. Visible needle shaping's along the shoulder seams and neckline are a recognised feature of handmade knitted garments. It's finished with a stand-up collar, ribbed cuffs and hem and a hand sewn zip with leather puller.

As part of our ongoing tradition of craftsmanship, this piece was presented as a gift to HRH The Princess of Wales, a reflection of the enduring quality and heritage behind every garment we make.

Fit & Specification    

This cardigan is available in 100% Cashmere or 100% Wool, crafted from a 6-ply ribbed knit fabric for durability and shape retention. It offers a super-soft handle, ensuring a luxurious and comfortable feel. The stand-up collar provides added warmth and structure, while the long sleeves offer full coverage. Finished with a leather zip puller, the design adds a refined touch. For care, we recommend hand washing to maintain the fabric’s quality. Each cardigan is expertly handmade in Wales, reflecting superior craftsmanship.

Crafted from 100% pure Lambs wool, the fabric offers a luxuriously soft feel against the skin. Wool's natural benefits include breathability, temperature regulation, and moisture-wicking properties, ensuring lasting comfort. To maintain its exceptional quality, we recommend gentle hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting. Lay flat to dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Composition & Product Care - Cashmere

Crafted from 100% pure Cashmere offering a luxuriously soft feel against the skin. We use only the finest most luxurious grade of cashmere available, taken from the underbelly of Himalayan goats living high in the mountains. The cashmere fibres we use average only 16 microns in diameter, or one quarter the diameter of a human hair. They are processed and dyed in the UK by the world’s leading cashmere yarn manufacturer before being knitted into the most exquisite knitwear, offering unbeatable softness and quality.
